Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Wilmington, NC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. The role involves planning, directing OT services and coordinating with a care team to maintain high quality resident care.

Requires Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy and active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice; ongoing CEU to maintain licensure. Flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN positions available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screenings to determine intervention options.
• Perform treatment plans and follow established goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and care teams.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Ensure documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Perform duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily
