First American is seeking an Associate Operations Counsel to provide in-house legal and regulatory guidance focused on mortgage servicing and originations, with emphasis on servicing document requirements and regulatory compliance.

You will draft contracts and policies, advise operational teams, and coordinate with regulators as needed while monitoring changes in applicable laws and regulatory trends that impact servicing documentation.

Qualificações

• Requires a Law Degree (JD) and admission to practice in the US.
• Experience with residential mortgage servicing regulations, compliance, and documentation.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-house legal and regulatory advice on mortgage servicing and originations.
• Draft contracts, policies, and product forms and review servicing documents for regulatory compliance.
• Research federal and state mortgage servicing laws and monitor regulatory changes.
