Job summary

Maymont Homes is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support administration and coordination of litigation and pre-litigation matters across our single-family rental portfolio. You will assist with matter management, factual investigation, discovery, subpoenas, and coordination with external counsel under attorney direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate required.
• 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant.
• Experience with pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support internal management of litigation and pre-litigation matters, including status tracking, factual investigation, document collection, case-file organization, calendaring, and coordination with outside counsel, under attorney direction.
• Prepare and assist with discovery responses, insurance claims investigations, subpoena responses, document productions, legal holds, and other litigation-related materials; coordinate with internal teams, insurance representatives, and outside counsel to share timely information and records.
• Prepare routine legal documents and correspondence, including releases, notices, settlement paperwork, and matter summaries, for attorney review, approval, and execution.
