Job summary

Lennar is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel – Litigation to work closely with divisional leaders and internal teams on claims, disputes, and risk management. This role offers exposure to senior attorneys, strategic business decisions, and opportunities to grow within a large public company.

As part of the Lennar Legal team, you will handle complex matters, develop legal judgment, and support templates, playbooks, and compliance efforts while balancing risk with business objectives.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• 0–5+ years of legal experience with strong litigation background.
• Experience in insurance defense, construction defect, bodily injury, real estate litigation, or related area preferred.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, research, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide business partnership, integrating legal expertise with corporate strategy.
• Embrace legal tech, AI-driven tools, cybersecurity, and data privacy strategies.
• Draft, review, and support execution of standard agreements and legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with templates and policies.
• Drive litigation, investigations, regulatory filings, and compliance activities with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Perform legal research, issue analysis, and due‑diligence activities, preparing memoranda and recommendations for review.
