Job summary

Omnissa is seeking an Employment and Litigation Counsel to guide employment law and commercial litigation within a global software company. You will partner with People Experience and cross-functional teams to provide practical, risk-based legal advice and help shape policy and training materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of employment law and/or litigation experience, with two or more years in-house preferred.
• Experience supporting employment law matters and commercial litigation.
• Experience with LATAM employment laws or interest in LATAM matters.
• Creative problem solving and ability to translate legal risk into practical business guidance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advising Americas PX professionals and business leaders on employment law matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, discipline, leaves, accommodations, and employment agreements.
• Supporting management of global commercial and intellectual property litigation, pre-litigation disputes, subpoenas, and government inquiries, collaborating with external counsel as needed.
• Reviewing and updating Americas PX policies, guidelines, templates, and training materials, aligned with priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing AI to efficiently provide high-quality legal guidance to PX and stakeholders.
• Developing and delivering training for cross-functional partners on employment law, litigation best practices, and risk mitigation.
• Drafting and reviewing agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents supporting both employment and litigation functions.
