Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in New York seeks an Associate Counsel to manage a high volume of commercial agreements for the Media & Sponsorship division, including sponsorship, promotion, artist and licensing deals. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, coordinate with sales, rights, and operations teams, and help build templates and playbooks for new relationship types.

JD with bar in NY/CA/TX and 4+ years of in-house or live entertainment experience is required; strong communication

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active Bar in TX, CA or NY.
• At least four years as a practicing attorney.
• In-house or business-side experience in live entertainment or comparable industry.
• Experience negotiating and structuring complex commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of AI ethics in legal context (confidentiality, accuracy, bias).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements for sponsorship, promotion, and related rights.
• Coordinate with sales, rights, experiential teams and other Live Nation legal teams.
• Provide in-house legal advice on contracting structure, risk management and policies.
• Create and update templates and playbooks for new relationship types.
