Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking an experienced attorney to join its legal team in Beverly Hills. The role focuses on transactional work, drafting and negotiating music and entertainment contracts, and advising business units.

Qualified candidates will have a J.D., California Bar admission, at least five years of large-firm or in-house experience, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple deals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a lawyer with a major law firm or in-house legal department
• At least 3 years negotiating and drafting music/entertainment transactions and agreements
• Experience related to artist management, concert promotion, or live events
• J.D. and California Bar in good standing, or eligibility to register as in-house counsel
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, sound business judgment, ability to handle multiple projects
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, high personal integrity

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional legal support to Live Nation affiliated management, artist development and production companies
• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to management, NDAs, vendor/service agreements, licenses, venue and sponsorship agreements
• Advise on business and legal matters for affiliated companies
• Interact with affiliated companies and third-party attorneys to negotiate and finalize contracts
• Assist with updating internal contract templates
• Manage contract process and provide regular status updates to internal teams and affiliated companies
