Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment seeks a Director of Business & Legal Affairs in Beverly Hills to provide transactional legal support to management, artists, and production companies. Drafts and negotiates a variety of commercial contracts including management, NDAs, vendor agreements, licenses, and venue deals.

The role requires at least 5 years as a lawyer, J.D. and California Bar, and strong communication, organizational, and client-facing skills; the ideal candidate has experience with artist

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a lawyer with a major law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• At least 3 years negotiating and drafting music/entertainment agreements.
• J.D. and membership in the California Bar in good standing, or eligible to register as in-house counsel with the California Bar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, sound business judgment, ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional legal support to Live Nation affiliated management, artist development and production companies.
• Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (e.g., management, NDAs, vendor, licenses, venue, sponsorship).
• Advise and provide timely guidance on business and legal matters to affiliated companies.
• Communicate with affiliated companies and third-party attorneys to negotiate and finalize contracts.
• Assist with updating internal contract templates and manage contract process with status updates.
