Job summary

ACT Group is seeking a highly motivated attorney to join its NYC office in a role focusing on contractual, regulatory, governance, and general corporate matters. You will advise on a variety of transactions and commercial issues, interacting directly with management and with business counterparts.

Requirements include a JD, admission to the New York Bar (or eligible), 2–4 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house counsel, and strong drafting and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• JD required and admitted to NY Bar.
• 2–4 years' experience in law firm and/or in-house counsel.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across departments.
• Experience with commercial contracts and negotiations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements (domestic and international).
• Negotiate with worldwide customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, risk, compliance, and other departments to analyze contract terms and mitigate risk.
• Assist in contract documentation flow: reviews, approvals, reporting, archiving.
