Job summary

Valsoft Corporation is seeking an in-house lawyer to support three portfolios, negotiating SaaS and software licenses, customer, vendor and partnership agreements, and building practical templates to accelerate business decisions.

You’ll advise on employment issues, protect IP, manage corporate records, and coordinate with outside counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters, contributing to smooth post-close integrations in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from a recognized U.S. law school.
• 4–8 years of legal practice, with in-house experience a plus.
• Strong drafting and negotiation on commercial/tech agreements.
• Experience with software, AI licensing and SaaS business models.
• Experience handling employment and HR-related matters.
• Knowledge of IP, contracts, and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS, software licenses, vendor and partner agreements.
• Provide day-to-day legal support to portfolio company leaders across matters.
• Manage IP, employment, regulatory compliance, and post-close integration.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on multi-jurisdictional issues.
