Job summary

Green Brick Partners, Inc. seeks an experienced Corporate Counsel to support day-to-day commercial and dispute-resolution needs in Plano, TX. You will draft and negotiate vendor, trade partner, and other contracts, handle disputes, and assist in litigation management with our General Counsel.

The role offers exposure to senior leadership and a path from commercial litigator into in-house leadership, with a focus on risk management and contract interpretation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required and active Texas bar license or eligible for admission.
• ,
• 3–6 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts with strong risk allocation.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite for documentation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage vendor and customer disputes from demand to resolution.
• Assist in managing the Company’s litigation docket, deadlines, and discovery responses.
• Supervise outside counsel and coordinate with senior leadership.
• Draft, revise, and negotiate commercial agreements including vendor and trade partner contracts.
