BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an in-house Corporate Counsel to support Employment and Commercial matters, with a focus on negotiating and reviewing contracts for mergers and acquisitions and providing day-to-day legal counsel for corporate functions. The role requires strong drafting, due diligence, and litigation support capabilities, including experience with employment disputes and data security issues.

The candidate should have a J.D., an active U.S.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. with active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• 4–8 years in commercial and employment law, including transactional work.
• M&A and private equity experience preferred.
• Strong ability to draft/interpret contracts and NDAs.
• Experience with EEOC/state EEO processes, wage/hour claims.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review, and revise transactional documents including NDAs.
• Assist on due diligence for M&A and private equity.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and service/equipment contracts.
• Provide employment-related legal counseling and immigration advice.
• Support litigation and respond to subpoenas.
• Advise on data security and do-not-call databases issues.
