Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a strategic legal advisor to guide privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and digital compliance initiatives across the business in Orlando.

You will partner with business, technology, information security, and compliance leaders to balance innovation with regulatory risk, draft and negotiate privacy agreements, and lead governance programs. The ideal candidate has a JD from a top U.S. law school and 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-ranked accredited U.S. law school.
• 3–5 years of legal experience.
• Strong background in data privacy, cybersecurity, technology transactions, and AI.
• Experience advising on global privacy laws and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, AI governance, and digital compliance matters.
• Lead privacy-by-design initiatives and support data governance programs.
• Counsel on GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and emerging global privacy regulations.
• Negotiate DPAs, technology agreements, SaaS contracts, and other privacy-related commercial agreements.
• Support cybersecurity incident response, breach management, and regulatory inquiries.
• Partner with stakeholders on digital transformation, cloud services, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Develop and implement privacy, AI, and compliance frameworks and policies.
