Job summary

International SOS is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Americas Legal team in the United States. You will provide practical legal guidance on commercial contracts, privacy, compliance, governance, and partnerships, partnering with business leaders across the organization.

Ideal candidates hold a US JD, active bar license, and 1–3 years in law firms or in-house, with strong drafting, negotiation, and risk-management skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active license to practice in the United States.
• US bar licensure is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including customer and vendor contracts.
• Support complex commercial transactions and strategic business initiatives.
• Provide guidance on regulatory, privacy, and compliance matters.
• Advise business leaders and internal stakeholders across the organization.
• Assist with governance, policy development, and risk management.
• Collaborate with global legal colleagues on cross-border matters.
• Contribute to due diligence, audits, and contract record-keeping.
• Deliver training and practical legal guidance to non-legal teams.
