Job summary

Charter Communications, Inc. seeks a Corporate and Compliance Paralegal to support the General Counsel on regulatory, transactional, and administrative matters. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, preparing filings, and maintaining corporate records.

You will draft and review contracts, liaise with regulatory authorities, and coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel to support governance and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BBA or paralegal certificate and relevant work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ paralegal experience; in-house corporate paralegal preferred.
• Regulatory compliance experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent research and organizational skills with superb communication.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain licenses, registrations, and certificates of authority.
• Prepare, file, and maintain documents with state authorities and regulators.
• Research current statutes and regulations affecting the company.
• Draft and review contracts and corporate documents for internal clients.
• Maintain corporate files and contract databases; manage workflows with counsel.
