Tri-State is seeking an in-house attorney to assist general counsel with contract drafting, negotiations, and legal review across utility functions. You will perform varied legal research and participate in meetings and seminars as required.

The role is based in Westminster, CO, offering exposure to CIP, WECC, FERC, NERC standards and a broad benefits program. A Colorado bar admission within one year is required.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to interpret, analyze and prepare contract documents.

Aufgaben

• Assist with negotiating, drafting, and performing legal review or preparation of contracts and other miscellaneous legal documents.
• Assist with providing legal assistance to Tri-State in matters pertaining to the Association's general business and utility activities.
• Perform varied legal research and also attend meetings, seminars and functions as requested.
• Adhere to company policies, CIP, WECC, FERC, NERC, MRO standards and EEO laws and regulations.
• Maintain safety awareness and comply with safety policies and procedures to assure a safe working environment.
• Support Tri-State's culture and compliance programs within the company.
