Job summary

EisnerAmper, a leading accounting and advisory firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its in-house legal team and support Directors. You will review client engagement letters, NDAs, MSAs, BAAs, and government contracts, respond to RFPs, manage the legal intake process, and help improve templates and playbooks.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, clear communication, and collaboration across departments. Ideal candidates have a J.D.

Qualifications

J.D. degree with current bar admission.
3+ years of post-law school experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
Ability to independently review, respond to and negotiate commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

Review and negotiate client engagement letters using Firm templates and advise on professional services risk.
Draft, review and negotiate NDAs and access agreements.
Respond to RFPs and coordinate with business teams on legal requirements.
Manage the legal department's Smartsheet intake process and track requests.
Review and negotiate MSAs, BAAs, subcontractor agreements, government contracts and other commercial contracts, identifying risks.
Provide legal guidance to Firm directors and escalate complex issues to Legal Directors as needed.
Assist with maintaining contract templates, playbooks and process documentation.
Implement and understand AI tools and platforms to increase efficiencies.
