Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our in-house legal team and report to the Legal Directors. You will review and negotiate client engagement letters, handle NDAs and access letters, respond to RFPs, manage the legal department's intake process, review commercial contracts such as MSAs, BAAs, subcontractor agreements and government contracts, and provide day-to-day legal support to the Firm's directors.

The role requires a J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with current bar admission.
• 3+ years of post-law school experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Ability to independently review, respond to and negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs, BAAs and government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate client engagement letters based on Firm templates, identifying professional services risk issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate NDAs and third-party access agreements.
• Respond to RFPs by reviewing legal/contractual requirements and coordinating with business teams.
• Manage the legal department's Smartsheet intake process and track requests.
• Review and negotiate MSAs, BAAs, subcontractor agreements and government contracts.
• Provide legal support to the Firm's directors on contract-related matters and escalate as needed.
• Assist with maintaining and improving contract templates, playbooks and process docs.
• Implement and understand AI tools and use cases to increase efficiencies.
