Made in the Shade is seeking a Window Treatment Sales Consultant to meet customers in their homes, guide choices, and manage projects from consultation to installation. This high-earning, commission-minded role rewards relationship-building and confident decision-making.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of sales experience, strong presentation skills, and comfort with evenings/weekends. Local franchise ownership supports flexible hours and professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience preferred with in-home sales as a bonus.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Strong math skills for measuring and quoting.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using a CRM.
• Able to lift 20 lbs, climb stairs, and measure overhead on a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations and recommend the right solution.
• Create customized proposals based on style, function, and budget.
• Measure accurately and build clear quotes.
• Stay organized, arrive on time, and follow up consistently.
• Generate new business through referrals and relationships.
• Own the customer experience from sale through installation.
• Partner with installers to ensure accurate measurements and smooth installs.
• Stay current on products and vendor offerings.
