Made in the Shade is a leading custom window treatment franchise across North America. We’re one of the few remaining family-owned franchise systems, known for high-quality products and a great in-home customer experience. This position is with an independently owned and operated Made in the Shade franchise location.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience preferred; in-home sales a bonus.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Organized, professional, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Strong math skills for measuring and quoting.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using a CRM.
• Able to lift 20 lbs, climb stairs, and measure overhead on a 6-foot ladder.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations and recommend the right solution
• Create customized proposals based on style, function, and budget
• Measure accurately and build clear quotes
• Stay organized, arrive on time, and follow up consistently
• Generate new business through referrals and relationships
• Own the customer experience from sale through installation
• Partner with installers to ensure accurate measurements and smooth installs
• Stay current on products and vendor offerings
