Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a qualified In-Home Therapist (IHT) in Massachusetts to deliver structured, strength-based family- and youth-centered therapy in the home setting.

The role emphasizes work with children and families facing behavioral-emotional challenges. A Master’s degree and a valid driver’s license are required, with supervision provided for independent licensure and potential bilingual opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable access to a vehicle. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• The In-Home Therapist (IHT) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for treating a youth’s behavioral needs.

• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
• Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
