Job summary

Young Adult Institute, Inc. is seeking a Therapeutic Coaching Specialist to support individuals in homes and community settings across assigned regions.

You will implement person-centered interventions, conduct coaching visits, and collaborate with caregivers to stabilize behavior and promote skills in daily living. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in human services and at least two years working with I/DD or behavioral health populations, with regular travel and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or other human services field.
• At least two years of experience working with the I/DD population and/or behavioral health needs.
• Ability to travel regularly across assigned region(s) for in-person coaching sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community coaching using person-centered therapeutic interventions.
• Conduct coaching visits and assess biopsychosocial factors affecting functioning.
• Develop and implement crisis prevention plans and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain documentation and timely data entry into START systems.
• Collaborate with START team and caregivers to support progress and safety.
