Job summary

Easter Seals is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in Ohio in their own homes. You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, working within the Individual Service Plan to meet goals.

The role requires a High School Diploma, a valid Ohio driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification, and reliable transportation. Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities essential for client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain schedules.
• Willingness to follow ISP plans and report changes to management.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic personal care and grooming for clients in their home.
• Perform household tasks essential to health and comfort (bedding, laundry, light cleaning).
• Assist with cooking, feeding, and shopping as needed.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and HIP standards.
• Be flexible with scheduling and overtime when required.
