Job summary

Kittitas Interactive Management (KIM) seeks an in-home Support & Recovery Advocate (SRA) to assist clients with IDD in their homes and in the community. You will help clients follow their Treatment Plans to gain independence and progress toward graduation from the CP program, while motivating personal growth.

This role offers paid training and shifts; full-time and part-time positions are available with an hourly rate of $18.50.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with clients.
• Valid driver’s license or State ID.
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities.
• Effective communication skills, including listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension.
• Ability to encourage introspection, connection, and ambition.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients’ daily activities and living conditions to ensure health and safety.
• Transport clients to activities and appointments and arrange transportation as needed.
• Complete all forms, reports, and data sheets for caseload.
• Coordinate individualized programs for clients and document activity thoroughly.
• Help clients with emotional and behavioral regulation techniques per their plans.
• Follow therapist’s Treatment Plan and progress toward graduation from CP Program.
• Assist with client money management such as petty cash and receipts.
• Communicate with medical offices, pharmacies, and nurse delegator for meds and appointments.
• Administer medications to clients and document accordingly (if applicable).
• All training for this position is paid and provided by KIM.
