Job summary

Minnesota Lifestyle Solutions is hiring caregivers to support individuals in maintaining independence through one-on-one care. You will teach adaptive skills, support wellness activities, and assist with meals, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Join our cooperative team to facilitate community participation and provide compassionate, respectful care. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and a flexible schedule including on-call options.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy and patience when assisting individuals with diverse needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and client interaction.
• Willingness to travel and_assist in various community settings.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in maintaining independence through one-on-one care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Support individuals in maintaining their independence through one-on-one care
• Teaching adaptive skills
• Support wellness activities

• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience – homecare, direct care position, working w/ individuals w/ disabilities, seniors, dementia, etc– A Plus!
• A passion to help others
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Effective communication skills
• Unwavering patience
• Willing to travel
• Valid MN Driver License and Insured Driver
• Must pass a background check & comfortable with DHS fingerprinting
