Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience - homecare or direct care, working with individuals with disabilities, seniors, dementia is a plus.
• A passion to help others and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and listening abilities.
• Patient and reliable demeanor.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Valid MN driver license and insured driver; background check and DHS fingerprinting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in maintaining independence through one-on-one care.
• Teach adaptive skills and support wellness activities.
• Facilitate community participation and social engagement.
• Prepare meals and snacks; light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and maintain safety during visits.
• Update team leads and case managers with progress and concerns.
