Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in Waterloo, IA, across private residences and senior living communities. You will assess, plan, and provide evidence-based treatment, aiming to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain.
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current ASHA CCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in-home or in senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions to support wellness, longevity, mobility, and independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate.
