Job summary

Tutor Me LA LLC is seeking an in-home Special Education Tutor to work with neurodivergent students across California. This flexible, part-time W-2 role starts with 2-10 hours per week and offers growth as you take on more students.

You will deliver personalized instruction, socio-emotional support, and guidance aligned to each student’s IEP goals, in-home. Travel is involved; bilingual matches may receive premium rates.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education is preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting students with special needs or learning differences.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus — premium rates for bilingual matches.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement creative lesson plans aligned to each student's IEP goals with available team support.
• Adapt academic materials to each student’s unique learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and maintain open, empathetic communication with parents/guardians.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that builds confidence and resilience.
