Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, seeks a Smart Home Sales Technician to meet customers in homes, retail locations and events, and to recommend personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.

You will generate leads, close sales, and support the complete customer experience from consultation through installation and ongoing service, while representing Vivint professionally in the field and in communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales mindset with the ability to build trust, uncover needs and close the sale.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to pass post-offer background and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Meeting customers in homes, retail locations and events.
• Recommending personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
• Generating leads, following up with prospects and closing sales.
• Installing, servicing and troubleshooting Vivint smart home equipment.
• Educating customers on how to use their system.
• Representing Vivint professionally in the field, in retail environments and in the communities we serve.
