Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a home setup that protects what they value most. You will combine hands-on installation with consultative sales, activating systems and educating customers on our app and features to fit their unique needs.

You will deliver in-home consultations, install and activate security hardware, IoT devices, and smart home products, then troubleshoot questions and onboard customers while identifying

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record; location-based licensing may apply.
Strong customer-focused communication and tech aptitude.

Responsibilities

Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
Complete customer onboarding and product education.
Build long-term customer confidence through proactive support.
Identify upsell opportunities that strengthen home protection.
