Job summary

Scylla Solutions is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide outpatient rehabilitation in residents' homes or in care facilities for the older adult population. The role includes evaluation and treatment in the most functional setting and directing patient participation to restore and enhance communication and swallowing.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must possess or be eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or be eligible for ASHA Clinical Fellow.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in the home or facility setting for older adults.
• Supervise CFYs, students and support personnel in accordance with licensure requirements.
• Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation and participate in related meetings.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team and physicians to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• Adapt plans of care based on patient needs and ensure a safe environment.
