Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC in Iowa is seeking an in-home senior caregiver to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and accompany clients to appointments.

The role requires compassion, reliability, strong communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening; at least 1 year of caregiving experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
