Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC is seeking an In-Home Senior Caregiver to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes in Northeast Iowa. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, meals, and light housekeeping while supporting mobility and transportation needs.

The role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and strong communication within a collaborative care team, with starting pay ranging from $16–$18 per hour and flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate, patient and reliable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
