Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC is seeking an in-home senior caregiver to help older adults stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. You will provide companionship, assist with personal care, meal support, light housekeeping, and medication reminders in clients' homes within Northeast Iowa.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, a year of caregiving experience, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Provide medication reminders to clients.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
