Job summary

SRX Home Care, LLC is seeking an in-home senior caregiver to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes across Northeast Iowa. You will provide companionship, personal care, meal prep, and light housekeeping while supporting mobility and transportation needs.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient care, reliable communication with the care team, and adherence to safeguards. Starting pay is $16–$18/hour with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments or run errands.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.
