Next Door & Window in Burr Ridge, IL seeks an Outside Sales Representative to drive in-home consultative sales for window and door solutions. You will meet homeowners at home, ask the right questions, and present tailored designs that emphasize value and long-term benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in the Chicagoland area.
• Strong in-home sales or consultative selling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners in their homes for thoughtful, in-depth consultations.
• Ask smart, relevant questions to understand their goals, concerns, and priorities.
• Educate homeowners on solutions they truly need—not what they’re pressured to buy.
• Design and present window and door solutions that improve aesthetics and function.
• Clearly explain value, investment, and long-term benefits in a calm, confident manner.
• Speak intelligently and credibly—without jargon or sales theatrics.
• Guide homeowners through the decision-making process at a respectful pace.
• Confidently ask for the opportunity to earn their business—without pressure.
• Close sales through trust, clarity, and professionalism.
• Ensure contracts and details are accurately entered into the CRM.
• Stay connected with homeowners from first meeting through project completion.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Build long-term relationships and strong referrals.
