Job summary

Next Door & Window is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to conduct in-home consultations across the Chicagoland area. You will listen, understand homeowner goals, design window and door solutions, and present clear value with no pressure to buy.

The role rewards a consultative approach and strong closing skills. Ideal candidates have experience in in-home or consultative selling, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Independent field work in Chicagoland area.
• In-home sales or consultative selling experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to visit homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners in their homes for thoughtful, in-depth consultations.
• Ask smart, relevant questions to understand goals, concerns and priorities.
• Educate homeowners on needed solutions and design window/door solutions.
• Explain value, investment, and long-term benefits clearly and calmly.
• Move the process forward, guiding decisions at a respectful pace.
• Close sales through trust, clarity, and professionalism.
