Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an In-Home Appliance Service Technician to repair refrigerators, freezers, and room air conditioners in customers' homes. You will travel to residences, diagnose issues, and perform high-quality repairs with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The role requires EPA Type 1 or CFC certification, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of appliance repair experience. Offers training, tools, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 certification or CFC certification required
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years appliance repair experience preferred
• Working mechanical knowledge and use of tools/test equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality workmanship
• Must possess valid state driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Perform timely repairs of customers' refrigerators, freezers and appliances at the home
• Maintain high quality customer service and care
• Promote and sell additional products and services
• Meet productivity and performance metrics
• Provide knowledgeable and courteous repair service
• Keep truck stocked and organized; follow maintenance schedule
