Job summary

Sears Holdings Corporation in the United States and Canada is seeking an experienced In-Home Appliance Service Technician to join the Sears Home Services team. This role repairs refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers and other home appliances in customers’ homes, delivering timely and quality service with a friendly, professional approach.

You will operate a service van with specialized tools, uniforms, a laptop, and a smartphone, supported by industry training and incentive plans as you build

Qualifications

• CFC Certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years appliance maintenance/repair experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair refrigerators and freezers (sealed and non-sealed systems) and other home appliances in customers’ homes.
• Provide timely and quality repairs and maintain high-quality customer service.
• Promote and sell additional products and services.
• Meet key performance metrics and productivity goals.
• Follow truck maintenance schedule and keep a clean, organized truck.
