Job summary

Step Up Family Services LLC is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for in-home visits in Montague, NJ. This part-time role supports children with ASD and other developmental disabilities under the supervision of a BCBA.

Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 ABA therapy, data collection, and implementing skill acquisition programs, with opportunities for growth toward RBT certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in psychology/education preferred.
• RBT certification preferred; if not obtained at hire, required within 90 days.
• Experience with children or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Must pass background checks and abuse registry screenings.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and sit on the floor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision as per treatment plans.
• Record and maintain accurate client progress data.
• Implement skill acquisition programs for communication, social, adaptive, and academic behaviors.
• Follow behavior reduction protocols designed by BCBA.
• Generalize skills across environments and with different people.
• Provide reinforcement, prompting and other ABA techniques per treatment plan.
• Communicate with clients, families and clinical team; maintain professional conduct.
• Ensure health, safety and well-being of clients at all times.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision and team meetings.
