Job summary

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Charlotte, NC for in-home therapy with two weekday afternoons (2:30pm–5:30pm), about 6 hours per week, part-time. The role supports teens on the autism spectrum under BCBA supervision and offers a clear career path within our ABA program.

You deliver direct therapy per the client’s plan, collect session data, and collaborate with a BCBA and family care manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior ABA experience
• Availability two weekday afternoons within 2:30pm–5:30pm
• Comfort working in a family's home
• Reliable transportation
• Able to stay active and engaged in session

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• BCBA is assigned before you start; you receive the plan, an introduction, and family support.
• Supervision is supportive with competency assessments, observation, and actionable feedback.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work; non-billable time is paid.
• BCBAs and clinical directors provide ongoing support.
