Job summary

High Five Cares is seeking a fully certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for after-school and weekend in-home support in Queens, NY. The role is part-time with afternoon and weekend hours and requires the RBT credential and ABA knowledge to work with a child in the family’s home.

The ideal candidate will have experience with autism or developmental disabilities, strong data-collection skills, and the ability to collaborate with BCBA supervision.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities beneficial.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavioral plans and strategies to support skill development and behavioral goals.
• Conduct daily sessions focusing on skill-building, socialization, and behavioral support.
• Collect and record progress data and communicate with the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with family and support staff to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, supportive and engaging home environment for the child.
