Job summary

High Five Cares is seeking a FULLY CERTIFIED Registered Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with a child in their home in the Bronx. The position offers a weekly schedule of 7–? hours? (see details) and a competitive hourly rate.

The ideal candidate has an RBT certification and solid ABA knowledge, with experience supporting children with autism in home settings. Responsibilities include data collection and collaboration with the BCBA and family.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in psychology or education preferred.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to Bronx 10467.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavioral plans and strategies to support the child’s skill development and behavioral goals.
• Conduct daily sessions with the child, focusing on skill-building, socialization, and behavioral support.
• Collect and record data on progress, communicating with the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with family and support staff to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for the child.
