Job summary

High Five Cares is seeking a fully certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with children, primarily in Brooklyn. You will apply ABA principles to support skill development and reduce challenging behaviors in a compassionate, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• RBT certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in psychology or education preferred.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the family\'s home.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavioral plans to support the child\'s skill development and behavioral reduction goals.
• Conduct daily one-on-one sessions with the child, focusing on skill-building and socialization.
• Collect and record data on the child\'s progress and communicate with the supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with the child\'s family and other staff to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, engaging environment for the child.
