Job summary

Autism FIRST in Chantilly, VA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) / RBT to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and in community settings under BCBA guidance. Responsibilities include tracking progress with accurate data, following individualized treatment plans, and maintaining client confidentiality.

Must have a high school diploma or GED; RBT certification is strongly preferred and CPR, TB test, and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of ABA experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally between clinic and in-home sessions.
• CPR certification required - reimbursement available after first 90 days of employment.
• TB test required.
• Proof of auto insurance required.
• Active RBT certification strongly preferred.
• Enrollment in BCBA or BCaBA coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in-home and approved community settings.
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under BCBA supervision.
• Follow individualized treatment plans.
• Collect and record accurate session data.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and families.
• Attend scheduled supervision, training, and staff meetings.
