Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for home care services. You will follow a dedicated plan of care, perform prescribed therapies, and educate patients and families to improve well-being in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed to assist in physical therapy in the practicing state.
• Current driver's license and dependable vehicle or public transport.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and the supervising PT plan; perform only qualified procedures.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers and safety.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health team.
• Educate patients, family and caregivers in therapy within the PTA scope.
• Adapt to home care settings regardless of client background.
