Job summary

VitalCaring Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for field-based home health in the Orlando area. You will provide direct therapy under a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients regain mobility, strength, and independence in their homes.

You bring PTA credentials, good communication, and a patient-first mindset to build trust with patients and their families while coordinating with care teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program and current PTA license.
• 1+ year home health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
