Job summary

VitalCaring seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality home health care in Sebring, FL. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes to improve mobility, strength, and independence, guided by a licensed Physical Therapist.

You will implement individualized plans, assist with therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and document in the EMR while collaborating with PTs, nurses, and care teams. Growth opportunities and flexible field-based scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services under licensed PT direction.
• Follow plans of care to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance.
• Support transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Document progress and communicate with the PT and care team.
