Job summary

VitalCaring, a leading home health provider, seeks a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver one-on-one care in patients' homes. You will implement treatment plans under a licensed PT, focusing on improving mobility and reducing pain across diverse patients.

Ideal candidates bring an accredited PTA program, current PTA license, and CPR certification, with 1+ year of home health experience preferred. The role offers field-based autonomy with team support and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct PTA services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to reduce pain and improve mobility.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support transfers and activities of daily living.
• Apply modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety and use of assistive devices.
