Job summary

PT Near Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes, with autonomy, flexible scheduling, and a patient-centered approach. Work as a contracted, per-visit caregiver, set your own hours and caseload while our team handles scheduling and back-office tasks.

Expect competitive per-visit pay and the freedom to add visits when you want. Pay works out to $60–70 per hour, billed per visit as a 1099 contractor — your exact per-visit rates

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).
• Ability to manage time and service area independently.
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan in patients' homes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety.
• Document visits accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Maintain professional and safe home visits.
• Treat a range of cases including post-accident, post-surgical and chronic conditions.
